A group of artists that definitely have a method and reason for the art of music they create. Take for instance their name REMAIN, which means to these artists to persevere, to continue, to span the ages, and stand the test of time. It’s a spiritual thing. It started with feelings of necessary significance. Of ages past, of the present, and of ages hence, some things remain and others fade. If something is influential enough, its effects can be felt for eternity. Then, and only then, can it truly remain.
The artists also realize that playing their music out is the key to their happiness and getting this music to their fans is a pleasure. Therefore, REMAIN plays as much as they can to reach as many as they can. One of the highlights of this mind set in performing found the band doing a show at the LSA (Lone Star Attitude), one of Denton’s premiere venues. The group was well received and after this 2015 show REMAIN was introduced to the legendary, Grammy-winning Eric Delegard. Delegard listened and heard the bands mixture of solid and familiar rock with all the new touches of complete originality and new found rock. Delegard being no stranger to what successful rock should sound like is complimented by an article in Metal Nexus. The quote by the writer says, “Delegards Grammy work on Sweepers HIGH POINT is a Straight-forward style of pure Rock and Roll…heavily entrenched in Seventies arena rock greatness.”
The next thing the band knew they were recording their five song EP at Realtime Audio Studio by Delegard himself who owns and founded the studio in Denton, TX.
In early 2016, REMAIN’s song “Generation Black,” was selected from their EP and was featured on the DFW Rock station 97.1 the Eagle as part of Debbie Sexxton’s Loud and Local radio show.
Currently, the band is signed to Robert Speed Productions whom in short order secured REMAIN a radio productions deal in the UK with the Deuce Radio Show. Their shows are covered in the UK, US and other countries as well. To date the bands single, Speed, is being played by over 35 stations.
